16TH CULTURAL OLYMPIAD OF PERFORMING ARTS - 2026- Port Blair-Andaman RULES & REGULATIONS FOR ARTISTS

1) Every artist have to perform ONCE in Solo/Duet/Trio OR Group.
2) Bring two Copies of your Music Pendrive ( Mp3 version only). No live accompanist will be available by the Organiser.
3) Use of hazards like match box , candles, oil lamps, lighters dry or liquid colors is strictly prohibited..
5) For your group performance if one artist is of a higher age division than the whole group will have to compete in the higher age category or division.
6) If the participant is performing in ethnic style, then he / she has not to mix the ethnic song with any other style ( ie. With classical + Modern). A complete Ethnic performance is needed. Mixing of 2 songs on one styles permissible.
7) Only one round will be there for the performances.
8) Time slot allotted for the performance will be strictly adhered to. You have to perform in given slot, time & date only. In any circumstances the date & slot will not be changed.
9) Certificate of Merit will be given to all the winner artists online.
10) Certificate of Participation will be given to all participating artists, Group or School.
11) Video- shooting / Still Photography is strictly prohibited .
12) The participants /groups are scheduled to be present on the fixed date & time.
13) All the winner certificates will be sent to the respective artist / group online.
14) You have to upload your final music track in MP3 Format by 20th Oct 2026
15)General Stage Light will be provided which is sufficient for your competition performance .
16) It's a request to all the contestant not to use extra light, sound, property material. They are on extra payment & costly.
17) Green rooms are available on sharing basis. No separate green rooms will be available for individuals or group.
18) Any injuries / illness caused at the time of performance, the group or the individual contestant will be solely responsible.
19) The props / instruments used by the contestant at the time of performance, should be collected later on after the performance. It is their responsibility for any loss or damage.
20) The contestants are not suppose to use, touch or take any material or any thing kept at the backstage . Heavy payment will be borne on them by the Theater Management.
21) Entry is strictly prohibited to any other campus/ unit, except Theater.
22) Please don’t cause any nuisance in the premises of the Venue/ Accommodation. The contestant /participants are not suppose to use the receptions, basements & the whole premises for roaming, playing games & Chit-chatting. The respective authorities can fine you.
23) Use of Alta, any Powder / liquid form of color is Strictly prohibited in the Auditorium if found your Performance will be canceled & Heavily fined.
24) The Juries decision is final. No cross checking have to be done by the participants/contestant.
25) As soon as you Registration process is completed, the tentative program schedule.
26) No admission in THEATRE without Registration of 16TH CULTURAL OLYMPIAD OF PERFORMING ARTS - 2026(COPA).
27) Follow the security rules of THEATRE, wearing your ID card of COPA is mandatory.
28) Spitting, spoiling, smoking, throwing eatables, papers are strictly prohibited in the whole campus of THEATRE. You will be fined heavily as the Rules of THEATRE are very strict.
29) The Programme Schedule ,Date, Venue can be changed ,in any circumstances.
30) First complete your registration procedure & then take out your air ticket .
31) This year the admission procedure for the COPA will be on first come first basis. so kindly hurry up & register yourself.. Please read carefully the registration process .
32) Your health is our priority, so all the Covid related guidelines must be followed.
33) If the event is postponed this entry will be considered for the next scheduled event.

Definition :
Participant : The person who has registered him/her in this Cultural Olympiad - by full filling Form whose Form is being accepted. Escort / Leader : The person who has registered by fulfilling Form Escort Organiser : Who host the Cultural olympiad Event- means Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh & ABSS’s GCAC.

1) Both the Forms along with the respective amount is to be duly filled ,completed in all aspects online. Last Date for submission is 30th Aug 2026
2) Furnish the following items along with this form : A) You / Your Organizations Bio-data related to arts. B) Olympiad Registration Fees as stipulated be sent by A/C Transfer C) Photocopies of Winner certificates D) Colour Photocopy of Passport- 1st & last page E) After completion of Registration procedure, ie. 3) A board comprising of Judges will assess the entire contest.
4) The judgement given by the board will be final & shall not be challenged. Any intervention by the parents, teachers etc. will not be Entertained.
5) Legal disputes, if any will be subject to Pune Jurisdiction.
6) Presence of Every one is compulsory for prize distribution. .
7) The campus, venue of the competition should be kept clean by everyone.
8) Passport should be valid for minimum period of 6 months of arrival date in India.
9) Possession of Valid Visa, Immigration clearances etc and security of papers will be entirely individual responsibility.
10) Visa supporting documents will be sent by ABSS but sanction of Visa is the sole responsibility of the participant because Visa Clearance totally depend upon External Affairs & Immigration Department of Thailand.
11)Air-Ticket booking, to & fro also will be entirely individual responsibility. You are requested to take early step in this regards.
12)All the immigration laws is bind to each & every participants/Escorts/Leaders .
13) In any reason , if you miss your flight/ Bus & don’t arrive AT PORT BLAIR means No Show of your entry. The Organization is not to be hold for any refund policy.
14)Any fluctuations in increase of USD will affect the Registration Fees. (Take this into consideration)
15) The organizers of ABSS are not responsible for the following situations raised on account of any foreseen reasons/ situations beyond our control a) Loss of valuables , life, documents. b) Loss of Hotel property due to negligence. c) Failure to report in time , while following the framed schedule. d) Payment of additional Bills / Tariffs /by Hotels, other than included as package. e) Washing of clothes in hotel toilets is prohibited. f) Only pre-set menu will be available at the hotel. g) We are strongly recommending you that, one should Insure of the Overseas Insurance Package. h) Allotment of room will be on share basis. i) Extra cost on use of Special Lights.j) PICK-UP & DROP UP only from PORT BLAIR International Airport.
16)The participant shall be entirely responsible for the property & safe setting & installation of all it scenery,props & other equipment and for the proper working of all its electrical, mechanical & other appliances.
17) Strictly no smoking/ alcoholic drinks in all the venues & accommodation also.
18) The participant shall be responsible for ensuring that the premises means - Theater, Stage, Greenroom, Accommodation Places, Boarding Hotels are kept clean & tidy at all the time. If extra cleaning is undertaken during or following the participant’s use of the premises, the participants shall pay such additional charges as directed by certain authorities.
19) Strictly only Registered Participants will be allowed to all the competition venue. You must have to produce your ID of the 16TH CULTURAL OLYMPIAD OF PERFORMING ARTS. You will be asked for it at the entrance of the Venue.
20) It’s the sole responsibility of each participants to hold & carry their respective valid documents including Airline Tickets, service vouchers, passport, visa documents etc. Loss of any of the above documents may involve cost & consequences such as filling FIR, visiting embassy, getting new passport or landing certificate, expenses on the stay, food, transports etc all of which have to be borne & paid by the concern participant only. The organizer is not liable for any obligation.(In this case your insurance policy will help you)
21) The programme being curtailed after commitment of the event & before the due period due to any unavoidable circumstances & any reason beyond our control such as political, natural calamities, movement under renuation heavy rush at the site seeing places, road traffic congestion etc. of the loss & expenses have to be borne by the participants.
22) All the accommodation Check -in time 2.00 PM & Check-out time is12.00PM (AFTERNOON)
23) Any damage caused to the hotel property by you will have to be paid by you only. Organizer will not be liable for the same.
24) It is presumed that the participant is medically fit to take part in this said Cultural Olympiad. If any conditions are derived as to hospitalize the participant, its charges will be borne by the participants himself/herself .The representatives of the Organizer will not be provided. Overseas Insurance Policy including Covid is mandatory.
25)The Cultural Olympiad Representatives/ Volunteers assisting the participant throughout the event are not responsible for participants baggage or any kind of personal belongings. During The entire event the participant have to carry their baggage on their own.
26)All the Rules of Civilization of ANDAMAN is liable to all the participants. Any misbehavior of the participants, any legal disputes , the organizer is not responsible for all such things.
27)A gentlemanly image of a person is expected in behavior and projection of overall personality.
28)Only after the whole event period, the participants are allowed to proceed for any further planning if done by him/her on their own.)
29)The Organizer have the right to change the Rules, Venues, cancel or reschedule the event & contest under any circumstance .
30)Kindly take this into consideration). Olympiad Registration Event Fee is Not-Refundable / Transferable in any circumstances .
